1. Identity of the Data Controller

At Mizanplus Gıda Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (“Mizanplus” or the “Company”), offering our products and services in the best possible way is of great importance to us. Accordingly, as the data controller, we would like to inform you about the personal data we obtain from you under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK” or the “Law”).

2. Processing of Personal Data and Purposes of Processing

Although this may vary depending on the product, service, or commercial activity offered by Mizanplus, your personal data are processed by our Company in order to provide our products and services in the best possible way.

Mizanplus may process your general personal data, such as your identity and contact details, transaction security data, payment data relating to your purchases, and visual and audio data, as well as any special categories of personal data if you share them with us, when you visit our branches and franchise branches or through various channels (call center, website, live chat, mobile app, etc.). Such processing is limited to the following purposes: providing our products and/or services; managing the receipt, cancellation, and fulfillment of orders; managing requests and complaints; where you have given your explicit consent and permission for commercial communications, carrying out publicity, marketing, promotions, surveys, prize draws, gift deliveries, contests, campaigns, and advertising through various channels (website, social media platforms, mobile app, etc.), presenting general and personalized offers, carrying out information and communication activities, and conducting analyses to anticipate customers’ potential requests, in order to improve the quality of the products and services our Company offers and to ensure customer satisfaction; managing our social media accounts and the communications you have with us through these channels; ensuring information and data security and the continuity of information systems; carrying out the work needed to improve our products and services, and conducting reporting, analysis, internal control, audit, review, and investigation activities; recording camera footage at our workplaces for security purposes; measuring and evaluating the quality of telephone calls made through the call center; fulfilling requests from public authorities and institutions and implementing decisions communicated to our Company; and managing archiving and retention processes, conducting and developing our Company’s activities, and ensuring compliance with legislation.

3. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data collected may be transferred, for the purposes set out in Section 2 of this Privacy Notice and only to the extent required under the Law and related regulations, to information technology service providers whose services our Company uses; agencies, call centers, and other companies we work with; lawyers who provide us with legal consulting under contract; public authorities and institutions; and maintenance providers, solution partners, and business partners.

4. Method and Legal Basis of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data are collected for the purposes set out above, in line with the fundamental principles laid down in the Law, on the basis of, and limited to, the legal grounds listed in Article 5(2) of the Law: the performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, the processing being expressly provided for by law, and the legitimate interests of the data controller. They are collected by automated or non-automated means from information you provide to us directly, orally or in writing; information sent via telephone, email, and similar channels; our website and social media platforms; our call center; our branches and franchise branches; public authorities and institutions (such as Consumer Arbitration Committees); the applications and software used in the course of the Company’s activities and camera recordings; and business partners from whom we receive support services.

5. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data

We would also like to remind you that, under the Law, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data are being processed and, if so, request information about this processing; learn the purpose of the processing and whether your data are being used by us in line with that purpose; know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data are transferred; request the correction of your data if they are incomplete or inaccurate; request the deletion, destruction, or anonymization of your data if the reasons requiring their processing no longer exist; request that such correction, deletion, or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom your data have been transferred; object to any outcome to your detriment that results from the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems; and claim compensation for any damage you suffer as a result of the unlawful processing of your data.

You may submit applications concerning your personal data under the Law in person, with verification of your identity, at Üniversite Mah. Sarıgül Sk. İstanbul Teknokent No:37/1 İç Kapı No:43 Avcılar/Istanbul; by email to info@mizanpluskitchens.com, signed with your secure electronic or mobile signature; or by the other methods set out in the Law and related legislation, subject to verification of your identity. In accordance with Article 13 of the Law, the Company will finalize applications free of charge, depending on the nature of the request, within 30 (thirty) days at the latest. If a request is rejected, the reason(s) for rejection will be explained in writing or electronically. If the process involves a cost, the fee schedule set by the Personal Data Protection Board will apply.
